Inaugural Oregon Zoo Fall Cider Festival
In addition to “Zoo Brew” and “Brew Lights”, the Oregon Zoo introduced the new “Fall Beer and Cider Festival” on Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th, 2023 that featured more than 40 Northwest breweries and cideries.
Plus, music, once again provided by PRO DJs with DJ Rich Ellis playing the entry plaza on Friday night and DJ Rhett Acelar on Saturday night. DJ Steve Marker performed both nights in Polar Plaza.
Cold Nights Warm Hearts At Oregon Zoo BrewLights
PRO DJs had the opportunity to return for Oregon Zoo BrewLights on Friday, November 18th and Saturday, November 19th, 2022. With the pandemic, the last BrewLights was in 2019, so it was good to be back again.
DJ Steve Marker was setup near Elephant Plaza at the far end of the zoo and had ’em dancing until 9pm, while DJ Rich Ellis worked the entry way and exit that saw a number of people dancing in the entry plaza the final hour.
It was really cold both nights, but no rain all weekend and a great crowd.
NWDSA Fun-Raiser Dance Camas Washington
PRO DJs had the opportunity to DJ the “Out of this World Fun-Raiser Dance” to benefit NWDSA’s Kindergarten Inclusion Cohort on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at AWPPW Local 5 Union Hall in Camas, Washington.
This event raised money through a number of raffle prizes and featured two local high school students performing karaoke versions of popular songs, along with plenty of dancing.
Clear Cold Fun At Oregon Zoo BrewLights
After “BrewFest” in June and “Roars + Pours” in September, PRO DJs had the opportunity to return again to the Oregon Zoo, this time with two DJ’s for BrewLights on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd, 2019.
DJ Rod Krause was setup near Elephant Plaza at the far end of the zoo and had ’em dancing until 9pm, while DJ Rich Ellis worked the entry way and exit that saw a sea of people dancing all over the entry plaza the final 90 minutes.
It was clear and cold, but no rain all weekend for another great crowd.
End Of Summer Fun At Roars + Pours
It was a nice day for a stroll at “Roars + Pours” held at the Oregon Zoo on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
Beer tasting, trivia, lawn games, elephants roaring (maybe) and PRO DJs providing the soundtrack from the concert stage.
