McMenamins Sand Trap Wedding Gearhart Oregon

 
Michele and Jason’s McMenamins Sand Trap wedding took place on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 on a windy, but gorgeous day in Gearhart on the Oregon Coast.
 

 
The ceremony and reception were held mostly outside just off the Livingstone Room patio overlooking the golf course.
 

 
McMenamins Sand Trap Wedding Ceremony Highlights:

• Groom & Best Man Entrance: Iron Maiden – The Trooper
• Maid of Honor & Bride Entrance: Phil Collins – A Groovy Kind of Love
• Bride/Groom Exit: Scorpions – When You Came Into My Life

It was a little cool but most guests opted to be outside for much of the reception. Background music was a mix of 60’s through 90’s Pop and Country hits as requested by the bride and groom.

The dance floor opened to everyone around 8:20pm and after the opening slow number, the 65 guests didn’t waste any time getting down to classic hits like “Twist & Shout” and “Stayin’ Alive” plus requests for “Electric Slide”, “Cha Cha Slide” and more.
