New Owner Same DJ Service For Company Party
New owner, same DJ service. PRO DJs was chosen by Sunlight Supply to DJ their Christmas company party for 10 straight years before they were sold.
After a break last year, we were brought back on 12/19/19 to DJ for the new company.

Company Party Embassy Suites Washington Square Tigard Oregon
Corporate holiday parties have once again filled the PRO DJs December calendar including a Vancouver-based trucking company holiday party at the Red Lion Hotel on the River Jantzen Beach in Portland and a return for a Tigard floor covering provider company party Embassy Suites Washington Square on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Before I had a chance to pack up my gear, I was asked to come back next year, so this one is already on the books for 2020 🙂
As guests gathered in the Columbia River Ballroom, I played a variety of background music selections that also featured Christmas favorites, “Sleigh Ride,” “Let It Snow,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and more.
Just like the previous year, following dinner was a presentation to recognize employees before everyone gathered on the dance floor for a big group photo.
Having everyone on the dance floor for the photo was a nice gift for the DJ and like last year, we got off to a great start, even with hotel ballroom overhead lights still on for the first 7-8 songs.
The house lights were eventually dimmed and the packed dance floor stayed that way for most of the night from around 8:30pm until the party ended at Midnight. Guests danced to everything from “September” and “YMCA” to “Uptown Funk” and “Cupid Shuffle.”

After dinner, the casino opened in the foyer. This is always tough competition for any DJ, but we managed to pull away a few early… not many can resist the “Cupid Shuffle” 🙂 By the final hour, I looked out to see nearly all the gaming tables empty and an active dance floor.

This was our first time performing at this venue and it’s a terrific place to hold any event. PRO DJs patched into the $110,000 sound system and couldn’t sound any better. Big thanks to sound engineer Zane for his help with setup and coordination.
The snow began to fall inside around 7pm and then Santa made his grand entrance. The kids couldn’t wait to visit with St. Nick.
I was warned by the owner before this one started that electricians are boring and probably won’t dance much LOL. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case with this group and they had a great time getting down to recent hit songs and a few classics.

Friday Night Lit For Edgefield Company Party
PRO DJs had the opportunity to perform again for a Portland area excavation service at their Edgefield company party held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the locally famous McMenamins property.
Guests packed the place so it was a little more intimate setting inside Blackberry Hall compared to the rooftop event in July 2018, but the result was the same with an active dance floor that didn’t let up for nearly three hours.
Guests really enjoyed more recent hit songs, but an 80’s set and some country selections were also well received.
