PRO DJs hosted a dancing and karaoke party for Portland area winemakers at Division Winemaking Company in Southeast Portland, Oregon on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
Everyone attending brought a bottle of wine and the celebration was on as I played a variety of background music including tracks from Michael Jackson, Hozier, Blondie and more, plus requests for a few Yacht rock songs.
After a few hours of wine and conversation, I picked up the tempo and some of the guests took the cue to hit the dance floor, while others were starting to review the available karaoke selections.
After Jess got us started with her performance of “Never Tear Us Apart” (INXS), Erin followed with “I’m Not In Love” (10cc) before Austin and Dan, who both chose David Bowie songs.
The dance floor lit up again with some ’90s Hip Hop jams and then the karaoke list filled up for a long stretch that included Dan’s performance of “Seven Nation Army” (White Stripes), Andrew with “Ice Ice Baby”, Austin returning to sing Corey Hart’s “Sunglasses At Night and many more.
